Yes, but I do not recommend putting them in the pool frequently because of the pool chemicals. Frequent swimming will shorten the life-span of the extension hair. When swimming, it is best to wear hair braided or in a bubble ponytail. You can also condition the hair before swimming and leave it in.

Absolutely! Just flip your hair weft up if you wear it up high. Wearing your hair up higher on your head or lower on your nape is usually better because of the weight of the hair.

Most of my clients find that once the hair has grown out more, then it is easier to wear it up.

Once the extensions have been worn for more than 4- 6 weeks, the weft line has grown out and the hair needs to be moved up closer to the scalp. At that time, we will either remove the extensions and reinstall, or move the beads up. You will not have to purchase hair again for 9-12 months depending on at home care. Move up appointments do not include a wash or blowout- you must come with CLEAN, DRY hair. If you would like a wash and blowout, please book it seperately.

This varies depending on the person and their at-home care, but I recommend every 4-8 weeks depending on how fast the hair grows and at home maintenance.

Brush your hair before washing. Section your hair, clipping up the wefts individually and then using two fingers clean between your weft lines.

Using a clarifying wash once a week helps to remove build up between the wefts.

This varies depending on how well they are maintained at home. Usually the hair lasts around 5 move ups, which is anywhere from 8-10 months.

+Wash about every 3-4 days with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner in hydrating or smoothing.

+Never go to bed with extensions wet. If air-drying dry the wefts at the root along the weft line. Use a satin pillowcase to avoid tangles.

+Be sure to brush at least twice a day starting at the ends and moving up.

+Use a hair masque frequently and hair oil. Avoid saltwater, chlorine, hard water if possible. Condition before entering these waters.

+Braid hair or keep in a low ponytail before bed to avoid tangles and to keep the curls longer.

+Avoid harsh pulling or yanking. Use one hand on your extensions weft line while brushing.

+Use only color safe, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and salon grade products.

+Come in for your move up appointments on their scheduled time.

+Always contact your stylist if you have questions about your extensions.

Hair must be purchased through my salon. I do work with hair outside of the brands I carry and stand behind. The brands I carry are Bellami and Hot Heads.

Extensions prices vary from person to person depending on how much hair you want and what length and color. The hair can cost from $500-$1500 and the install is $150 per row. Your move ups (which will be every 4-6 weeks) will cost $60 per row unless they need to be reinstalled. Your exact price will be given at your consultation. The hair cost is never refundable under any circumstance.
